It's an "event" to go visit - and not the good kind. So, I'm finding alternatives. Instead of PetSmart, I go to Wagger Pet at Arena/Truxel. I park right out front. They are nice and there aren't lines. They know their product. Instead of going to Staples, I shop online and have it delivered for free to my home. Instead of SleepTrain, I go to Mattress Discounters at Del Paso/Natomas Blvd - it's owned by the same company, they just sell stuff at a lower price (pretty great idea, by the way - set up two stores with different names in the same area and get ALL the business). Instead of Home Depot I go to Ace on I St (it takes about 5 extra minutes and the same people have worked there since time began and they know their stuff). I can resist Hooters somehow. I cannot avoid that darned theatre though - teenagers. Anyone who was involved in the development of the North Natomas shopping experience at any point up and down the runway ought to be bounced on their ear.
